Finally its here!!!!

Woohoo, finally, something I have always thought was very feasible and have been waiting for is finally here. For a quick look, see the below link

Not sure what it means? Well, this is still pretty vague, but with some luck, it kinda means playing YGO in sango style. You know, that game in the arcade where you move the cards around? Thats the one. With some luck, this means we can really put the cards on the machine, draw a card, scan them in the machine and play them out, etc.

A few concerns on my mind would be stuff like...

1. Only 50 type of cards available right now. Build what deck? LOL
2. Price confirm cough cough one siah. In japan cost $1.20 to play, plus you prob get 1 card per play. To build a deck in japan it will cost you $48 alr. What with singapore prices, $2 per game maybe??? $80, cough cough, my moneyz........ (But den again, hopefully got structure decks)
3. Scan 40 cards ah. Unless there's some new scanning system out, slotting in 40 cards 1 at a time, cough cough, stress
4. Finally, will this thing even visit us in Singapore anot. If its an only Japan machine, or none of the *toot* arcade operators in singapore bring it in, then must buy air ticket to go play liaoz....

Well, we can only hope for this particular machine to even appear, then we can think of whether my various concerns are proper. Time to wait for late march-april, hmmm. Maybe anyone can surf the net and see if you can fiind any info on it yah?


And next, time for a new system in the game! Synchro and tuner monsters! (Ignore the name changes lah, its just a name.......) I would like to put speed warrior aside, not very notable imo. I mean yes, its a 2 star first turn 1800, but thats it. Unless you are building a pure synchron/tuner deck, otherwise not very strong. Theres alot more 2 star stuff to sacrifice for the tuner monster anyway. (Franken baby please come back...)

But anywayz, this is just the first. I would expect there will be alot more synchron monsters with other levels then this one to appear, if not in the starter deck then from the next pack onwards. Shame that the first one to get printed will be a warrior though... (BORING)

Anywayz, looking at Junk synchron effect, it allows for a revival for any 2 star and lower, though effect is negated. No disc guy abuse people... But the revival will allow a nice activation of any card of safe return, so that seems interesting. Also, if you summon a 2 star, you can sac that away for our syncrhon monster - Junk warrior straight away. Kinda a once per turn 2300 attack monster? Not to mention if you can summon any other 2 star monsters and more, it will get even bigger. Hey, a speed warrior on field will get it to 3200, thats seriously big. Furthermore, not a activated effect both for the summoning of this thing, as well as the adding attack bit so.... (Repeat after me... LADD Suxor) Not to mention if I do read the rules correctly, you can actually revive it when it dies. (In case you wanna ask a dumb question, you cant metamorphesis out a synchron monster, at least according to how I read the preliminary rulings)

Anywayz.... Thats how I temp read it for now. Sounds like quite a few new and exciting stuff for both the arcade machine, as well as the starter deck. So sit back and relax as we await for more news!

Worse game ever????

Just a small update cause I seriously couldnt let this past siahz. I was reading through metagame's latest article for their tournament when I came across this match for a LADD versus a bad simochi burn deck. Read it for yourself.

I see misplay after misplay until I buey tahan. Interesting deck yes, but playing skill??? Like zzzz. Don't even say that, the LADD user also makes one of the biggest mistakes possible by that stupid heavy storm. And then you guys remember when I went to USA I met this guy who asked me if I had any ruling questions and I could ask him. As I read through the second match, I seriously began to doubt it...... Read it CAREFULLY and see if you notice a serious mistake NOBODY noticed. Meaning, the players, the people surrounding, the judges, and even the darn metagame publisher.

Got it? Don't even know why Im noting so many weird things recently. Look closely at upstart goblin. If you note it carefully, why the hell is it dealing 1k damage??? Yes, bad simochi is on the field im not blind, but look again carefully. The LADD player has a royal palace on the field!!! So that quite means that not only he would not have taken damage, but added life instead. So with the final 3 cards played, he will still have 2k life left lor!!! Sigh, but what to do.... I see the SKILL involved in this match I also abit zzz alr. Oh well, till next time kiddies.

He summoned Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer, activated Fissure, and brought Light and Darkness Dragon down to 1800 ATK. Smashing Ground reduced it to 1300 ATK, and Kycoo attacked! T lost Torrential Tribute and Pulling the Rug from the field, while Kycoo stripped his graveyard of Cyber Dragon and Disk commander — he was forced to special summon Destiny Hero – Malicious in defense mode.

Playing style makeover???

Hello everyone, here I am again.

Actually I wanted to post this earlier, but the spoilers came along and I thought most people would have interest in that first. Anywayz, this time round, this post is regarding this particular article which came up in Metagame a couple of weeks back. Well, if you still havent noticed anything weird in this article, you obviously havent played enough. I would like to call your attention to the portion about The Battle Step Continues, both example 1 and 2.........

Still dont see it? Sigh, here it is for the blind. By the previous way we have been playing, example 1 would not be possible, as once the attack goes through, you are supposed to enter damage step. But then again, this article actually creates extra timing for the battle step. Kinda ends up like VS, where you can actually create a new chain in the same timing, which makes it weird.

The worse one is even example 2 in the case of gravity bind. Not only does it create that extra timing, but since gravity bind is supposed to stop off the attack, when in our old playing method the attack is supposed to have already gone through and entered damage step. Seriously something different from our style if you ask me.

Then Replays is another crazy portion. Similarly, after the mirror force has been negated, the attack should have gone through into damage step by our playing method. But by this example, that extra timing allows you to open cry of living dead, and even start a replay??

Well, I dont know about you guys, but this is 1 serious weird article. You guys may wanna discuss about it here. Maybe the guy who wrote this article is a VS player and got his rulings mixed up? I don't know, but I would say that metagame is not a 100% accurate site imo, so I would say we should maintain our current rulings, while this gets checked out...

Latest Cards Review!

Alright people, as some of you will have seen by now, there are more spoilers appearing for the next pack and a big bunch at that. For the full card effects, head over to dmcomet yah? Just gonna post a few of the more notable ones yah with some comments and ideas.

LODT-JP003?Miracle Flipper (ミラクル・フリッパー)Light/?/2/?/?
When [Miracle Flipper] is on the field, this card cannot be summoned, reverse summoned, or special summoned. When this card is face-up on the field, opponent cannot attack your other monsters. When this card is destroy as result of battle, special summon this card to opponent's field. When this card is destroy by Magic, Trap, or effect of effect monster, destroy a monster on opponent's field.
- This card is another of the infinite stall cards, after platoon commander. Similar stall tactic and works well together also. Just summon platoon commander out, sp summon miracle flipper, and infinite stall is done!
Further more, this card will even punish your opp if he attempts to destroy your combo, by destroying their monsters which will probably have slowly gathered on the field while you were stalling. Quite strong and notable imo.


Lightlord Beast - Wolff (ライトロード・ビースト ウォルフ)Light/Beast-Warrior/4/2100/300
This card cannot be Normal Summoned. When this card is sent to Graveyard from the deck, special summon this card to your field.
- This card... TOOooooooooooooo STRONG! Too many methods to abuse it even in a none light lord deck. Fancy using a magical merchant to summon out 3 and add a m/t to your hand at the same time? Or maybe just use a reasoning or monster gate to get out even more monsters. Further more, it has 2100 attack, quite almost the highest you can get for basics. Def something OTK players can consider getting 3. Im getting 3 for myself for sure.


Lightlord Hunter - Raiku (ライトロード・ハンター ライコウ)Light/Beast/2/200/100
Reverse: You can destroy a card on the field. Send the top 3 cards from your deck to Graveyard.
- Very good card imo. You can destroy any card of your choice on the field, yet get to reduce deck size, fits lightlord's tactics very well.


LODT-JP02XJudgment Dragoon (裁きの龍(ジャッジメント・ドラグーン))Light/Dragon/8/3000/?
This card cannot be Normal Summoned. This card cannot be special summon outside of when there are 4 or more types of [Lightlord] monsters in your Gravyeard. Pay ??? lifepoints, destroy all cards on the field outside of this card. When this card is face-up on your field, during each of your End Phase send the top 4 cards on the deck to Graveyard.
- Repeat after me. CED.... Ok fine, its more like a demise for its effect, but seriously, most people will just think CED. Too easy to summon out if you're playing the appropriate deck, and at 0 cost. Just note, lightlord deck seems very easy to deck out, and sending 4 every turn is starting to get dangerous, LOL


LODT-JP02XDark Valkyria (ダーク・ヴァルキリア)Dark/Angel - Dual/4/1800/1050
When this card is face-up on the field or in Graveyard, treat this card as a Normal monster. When this card is face-up on the field and as treated as a Normal Summon you re-summon this card, this card becomes an effect monster and gains the following effect.- When this card is face-up on the fied, once you can put a Magic Counter on this card. For each Magic Counter on this card, increase this card's attack strength by 300. Also, remove a Magic Counter from this card, destroy a monster on the field.
- 1 of the best dual monsters so far imo. Just use an early burial on it, then dual summon it. Add counter, then sac the counter to destroy a monster, 1800 is good enough to kill off another monster. Talk about 1 for 3??


Battery Man - Button Type (電池メン-ボタン型)Light/Thunder/1/500/100
Reverse: Special Summon a [Battery Man] monster with level 4 or lower from your deck, your Graveyard, and RFG zone. Also, when this reversed card is sent to Graveyard as result of destroy in battle, draw a card from your deck.
- 2 tactics to play for this monster. Either you use it as a OTK method to summon out your old battery whichever it is, the add 1k attack for each battery thingy then reckless summoning. Or simply use it for free card advantage. Just draw 1 card and still have another wall on field.


Battery Man - Industrial Use (電池メン-業務用)Light/Thunder/8/2600/0
This card cannot be Normal Summoned. This card can only be initially special summoned by removing 2 [Battery Man] monsters from your Graveyard from the game. Remove a Thunder type monster from your Graveyard from the game, destroy a monster and a Magic/Trap card on the field. This effect can only be activate once per turn.
- Battery man seriously gaining some seriously ground in this pack. Just remove from game 3 battery from the grave and earn 3 cards. Another 1 for 3 card here seriously. It can even be sp summoned by any method, just that you have to sp summon it out the 1st time first.


Iregaeru (イレガエル)Water/Aqua/1/100/2000
Sacrifice a monster on your field. Choose a [Gaeru] ("Frog") monster from your deck and special summon it to your field. When this card is face-up on the field, [Gaeru] ("Frog") monsters cannot be destory as result of battle.
- Note that this card actually conveniently includes itself. That makes it a nice cannot be killed wall, with the ability to search out your favourite froggy even by itself. Not bad?


LODT-JP04XDragoon D-ENDDark/Warrior/10/3000/3000
[Destiny Hero Bloo-D] + [Destiny Hero Dogmaguy]
This card can only be Fusion Summoned by the above cards. Once per turn you can destroy a monster on opponent's field and dealt damage to opponent equal to that monster's attack strength. You cannot have Battle PHase the turn this effect was used. When this card is in Graveyard during your Standby Phase, you can remove a [Destiny Hero] card from Graveyard from the game to special summon this card.
- Finally, the actual effect. This is quitea strong fusion seriously. It can actually be sp summoned by any method, namely franken, your illusion summoner, metamorphesis, etc. Just that you wun get to sp summon it out after that. But hey, you get to kill off 1 opponent monster and deal damage at the same time. Why not? And if you did properly fusion it out, even better. Kinda makes it an infinite free returning monster actually. And my final card review next.....


LODT-JP04XAntique Gear Ultimate Golem (古代の機械究極巨人)Earth/Machine/10/4400/3400
[Antique Gear Golem] + [Antique Gear] monsters x2
This card cannot be special summon outside of by Fusion summon. When this card attacks monster in defense moe, and that defense strength is lower than this attack strength, deal battle damage to opponent equal to the difference. When this card attacks, opponent cannot activate Magic/Trap card until the end of Damage STep. When this card is destroy, special summon an [Antique Gear Golem] from your Graveyard ignoring all summoning requirements.
- LOL, confirm most zai fusion machine so far. Relatively easy to fusion out. If you even use sub fusion, you can use that and another 2 antique gear monsters and it appears. If you power bond it some more, just think 8800 trampler which is not scared of any holy barrier, dimensional prison, etc. And if it gets tidal wave or anything funny, at least you still get to call out your antique gear golem and console yourself with 3k instead? Something I will consider playing in the future.

Alright, this post is getting kinda long, so I shall stop it at here. There are actually quite a few more notable cards, but mostly for specific decks so it shall stop here. Quite a few decks actually get boosts from here, and couple of good themes may be considered after this pack. Namely, Lightlord and Batteryman seem very very competitive. Not that I will form them lah, since non machine, LOL. Till next time noobs and pros!

Omg its a looking back post!

Yes you can tell from the lack of looking back post that I have always died miserably somewhere that is not worth mentioning. But since today I did make it with my [Emobc] Deck!

I'm too lazy to put up my decklist, it was changed because I was lacking some cards and have to find alternatives. Be Creative! lol

1st Match: William (oh wow, yet again...) - Disk Raida variant
Yes I seem to always meet William in tournaments when I make new decks so he can thrash me with his LADD decks of different variants whenever I meet him. I thought to myself, "wtf, got so heng?" oh well too much crap.
Oh well anyways, I can't remember alot of things from the match except when he had Marshmallow and I had nothing to clear it, godamn Dark Armed was buried somewhere in the deck. Managed to clear using I dunno wat (probably torrential or a brain control hmm..) and won with MOBC loop.
Second game was even worse, I had to deal with BlooD, which was just something that totally pwns the deck when it absorbs MOBC. I managed to Torrential that too and won again with the usual MOBC loop (nerf pls!!).

2nd Match: Unknown to me - Dark deck
Seems abit emo and angry, keep slamming his deck after shuffle and slam my deck after shuffle too.
First round won with the usual (you know what) and a Priestess Ohm to burn his remaining LP.
2nd round was me getting raped, I dunno wtf I was doing and just doing nothing special.
Won the 3rd round with you-know-what again. But mostly due to his Snipe Stalker missing 2 rolls which pretty much sealed the deal. (I <3 Bao Chun's dice)

3rd Match: Greatguy - More Disk Raida Variants Best match of the day imo. First game I was too kanchiong. See his LP wrongly, thought can OTK with Priestess Ohm. And then all my Arms hole was gone coz I went to noobishly take premature for my Priestess. I was like oh shit, pls dont draw anything big. Won in the end after slowly clearing and poking. Second game was probably my best hand. I actually kinda forgot what was it but my field was Summon Priest, Knight of the End, and mobc all dealing direct attack. Used Summon Priest effect to get Ohm, and shot all 3, Arms hole for the premature in the grave and took ohm again for the last bit of hp.

4th and 5th was pure rape for me. Bao Chun and Yong Siang were both playing special deck and my side deck not prepared to fight against them. How to fight Dark Gaia deck and the other one is Cosmos out of game deck... -_- At least now I know what to add into my side deck..

The above combo was deemed gay and my deck was "lousy".

I just wanna take this opportunity to shoot back the people who "oh pls dont restrict ladd, its not gay, it's just good card"

I would say -> "Please dont ban Mobc, its not gay, it's just a good card."

So today I'm gonna post a deck, which is probably on the mind of many people already but I haven't seen one being played at all. Cannot think of a nice deck name yet so I shall just call it...

Name is inspired by all the emo kids playing yugioh now. And besides, the deck is pretty emo itself. Just look at the card list... Casino De Baha waiting to happen!

How to play:

- 3 Kycoo is not too much, just look at all the dark armed, dark creator, disc guy recurring crap ass decks now
- See, even I play 3 Dark Armed out of nowhere lol
- Summon priest can summon pretty much anything from the deck except the high levels of course
- Knight of the End -> MoBC/Dark Armed
- Arms Hole -> Early Burial/D.D.R
- Dimension Magic since everything is mostly Magician
- Priestess is so damn good in this deck for filling grave and burning that last bit of LP
- Prophet is also damn pro, recycling Dark Armed is dream come true

Weakness:
- DD crow will fuck up your combo if your arms hole got removed
- White Horn Dragon will also fuck you up
- Raiza will probably fuck your mobc up as well
- Fossil Dyna will probably rape the deck as well
- Crazy people who put 3 Twisters or something, whole deck collapse
- Too many fuck ups

So yah, another simple to play deck. No complicated combos, and it can OTK if your hand are cool. But too easily countered, you have to take the lead early and pressure the opponent, and loop it, and win!

Crazy Deck!!!

Hello people, and happy new year to all. Guess I will be the first guy in this blog posting for 2008. Did mention that I will be posting up something quite gay, in terms of deck of course, no funny thoughts here. Some of you guys have probably seen the deck, some may not yet. Anywayz, here is the deck list...

Alright people, as some of you might have noticed, this is quite similar to the previous toon cannon soldier infinite mobc shoot deck. However, this is new and improved for sure, as it is much easier to pull off now.

Reasons why?
- You no longer need any magic recovery or whatever to take back any important magic you need
- The old version mainly used cannon soldier to shoot. This one is magic, works well with magic recovery, mobc, etc
- Drawing engine in the deck, rather then a reduce deck size engine. So no need for any Toon Index, or all the funny cards in this deck.

Shall not teach too much on how to play it, as you seriously have to play it for yourself to learn the deck. It is a very very difficult deck to play. On a scale of 1-10 I will give it a 12 seriously. Mainly, it abuses cyber vary 2nd and 3rd ability, which is to place cards back to the top of the deck and to draw 2 cards. It doesnt even need mobc to begin an infinite draw. For the 4 cards for an infinite draw, here they are...

Cyber Vary
Machine Duplication
Dimension Fusion
Magical Inspection Technique

Thats it. If you draw these 4 cards in your first turn, you can quite shake the opponent's hand, as they are pretty much done for, like at 101%. Not sure how the infinite works? Go think. If think alr still don't get it? I recommend you don't play this deck, seriously not an easy deck to play, and the above 4 cards is pretty much the main basic combo. The only main headache you will always end up with this deck, which you will realise, is decking out. If you have at least 2 hand left when you DO deck out, you can still do the infinite win. But if you don't..... Concede bah, save each other time. In other words, you need cards in HAND, or DECK. You will understand what I mean after you guys try out this deck. If you do that is.

Hardest card to find in this deck? SERIOUSLY??? Magical Inspection Technique. Really don't know why cant find at all, even when I just needed 2. Took me ages and ages. Of course put aside old arms hole which is just at imbal price tag right now, the technique card, is highest on the hard to get list.

Alright, thats it for now. Not gonna say too much, time for you guys to work your noggins. And not that I wanna say too much, but if possible, don't say stuff like, oh, I thought of this deck already, just didnt do it blah blah. Even when I kept this deck under wraps and only just showed it last weekend, I have already heard it like over 3 times at least already. Not that I wanna claim credit for it but.... Kinda slightly pisses me off when I think so long about this deck and people just come up and say, oh, I thought about it, blah blah. SLIGHTLY only lah ah.
