XX Sabers craziness

I was joking when I said rescue cat + faultroll combo with gatoms crazy hand des combo was probably imposible to do.

It kinda happened pretty often making it a super imba card advantage. Add Reijigra and infinite Hand des combo is actually possible to do lol. Adding Arcanite Magician into the mix, clearing field and hand suddenly is not something that needs Harpy Feather + Thunderbolt anymore!

Still in the midst of tuning though, bad hand rate is still 50/50 especially when people with god luck can draw 3 trolls or 3 Airbelluns T_T

On side note, I dunno if people notice. But XX Gatomz summoning requirement is odd. It says Tuner + 1 or more Earth Monster. It lacks the "Non tuner"! So theoretically, you can summon it by using 3 Airbeluns! Which of course is retarded =)

Ancient Prophecy: Second look!

Quite a disappointing set for myself. A lot of cards to support themes that are not up there yet but might just have some chance this time round.

The fishes get stronger, Core Chimair is still a questionable theme, and more earthbound gods!

Ancient Holy Wyvern
Very interesting card to use. If you take something big and ram along with this when you are at full LP you might just get an OTK. This vs Dark Dive? Dark Dive still wins due to easy summon conditions.

XX Saber Faultroll
This is also very cute.
Cat -> 2 Airbellun -> Faultroll -> Summon another Airbellun -> all direct drop 3! -> Gatmuz -> Sac itself and 2 Airbellun -> 6 card hand des! yes it's probably impossible to do.
Double Faultroll and a Rejiigra + mass driver -> this time is really infinite loop!

Chainable to Cold Wave and prevent Synchro, what is not to like? It only lasts 3 turns =(

Strong effect, big attack, a usable 9 star synchro aside from Mist Wurm where you need 3 monsters. Earth monster!? Just steal opponent's Goyou!

GB Friendly and prevents that stupid "ALL RAM!" and then Dark Dive for the win!

Truth Reinforce
Useless at first sight, till I went looking for some good X Saber to add into my deck. Introducing X Saber Pasiul (I have no idea how to spell it in english, but it is the level 2 X Saber warrior duh!) Yeah it's great to use this way, otherwise it is still kinda crappy lol.

Overall an OK set but still looking forward to the next set. Set number 6 of each series are usually the most meta defining judging from the history of all the set releases up to date! Don't believe me? You should go look up the history of Yugioh!

Any ideas of what deck to play now?

I am kinda sick and tired of using AKB... I especially hate when I am using the same deck as others =(

So now I are kinda trying out GB with Ancient Forest and Airman Taosenai (Airman cannot be defeated) new version =D

Airman is my favourite card, true story.

Any other deck ideas that, hopefully, won't die to BF in 3 turns?

Edit: Ok so I am now playing some crazy ass XX Faultroll deck. It is kinda fun! With a decent hand and cold wave, you could easily wipe whole field AND opponent's hand! But well, bad hand rate is still kinda high, still in the midst of tuning.

Finally, I bought Ancient Prophecy!

Well, finally walked past a shop yesterday, (Shall not name where due to reasons obvious later), and remembered about Ancient Prophecy, so decided to buy a few packs. Heres my spoils out of 9 packs.

So yupz, abit sad for me, only got 2 out of the 4 synchros which I wanted, ancient wyvern, undead skull (collection obviously), didnt get the one shot rocket and ancient fairy which I hoped for. Ah well....

And yup, like I said previously, this pack, seriously cmi in my opinion. Save for the obvious vayu and other BF supports, nothing really much to talk about. Just a few notables here

Black Shining G - This is seriously like the new necro guardna, just better in this current meta. Furthermore, not compulsory, so take your time, pick your targets carefully yah?

Armored Psychiker - Well, not like its strong, but if disk guy was around its cool, LOL. Save from that... kinda crap... Its 2200 attack, means if you dont boost it, the biggest it can kill is like 2100, makes for 1050 monsters at best... Revive your critters, anyone?

Mine Field - Has some potential but... As usually the optional effect makes it alot worse. No sacrifice to summon high level / gate, etc and add field card to hand. Like jinzo returner, must be last thing to happen to enter grave. So.... Use of this is pretty limited to demise, then you can add gear town back to hand. Save for that...

Falchion Beta - Cute and cool, but still lacks ability to do something useful now. Not to mention it will prob only summon jute knight and victory viper

Ancient Forest - Good for a 1 time, turn all monsters to attack mode. Combo with Ojyama trio and any attack all monsters card for cool combo? Plus very GB abusable. Much better then GB's own field card.

Ancient Holy Wyvern - Cool effects, finally a nice big monster (assuming effect fulfills) for 7 star. But if you summon this thing, then you say, play a magic, people God D you.... LOLZ!

Saber Slash - X-Saber decks anyone? Kinda like batteryman's short circuit, good card to encourage theme based decks

Fossil Investigation - Cool support for dino based decks. Now if somebody could just build one...

Stunning Surprise - Cute for usage against AKB? LOLz! Even better if you sac just scapegoat tokens, etc.

In anyways, to the end of this whole post, I say that this pack, has a few cute stuff, but basically just stays cute. Nothing really that inspirational sadly, so, I think this will be the only 9 packs I will buy from this set. Ah wellz....

Stardust Accelerator (DS Attempt!)

Phew, finally got access to play Stardust Accelerator for myself last Saturday, so that makes 2 days. For everybody who knows what I mean, I just left the Satellite Residence only. Not that far in the game, but Im kinda concentrating on unlocking the packs, so fighting everyone for 3 wins is abit time consuming.

And yup, I fought the girl with the Natural Beasts. She summoned it 3 times to me too! Somehow managed to kill all 3 though, heres how it went...

1st NB - Flooded the field first, so when the first NB appeared, I could advance summon Prime Mat. Dragon and kill it. Tried to steal it with Automanous Action Unit, but she bottomless it instead
2nd NB - 2nd turn after she summoned it she went after my defense monster. Sadly it was D warrior girl, down went number 2.
3rd NB - Somehow Prime Mat. was still there, so it took out the 3rd.

You would think I would win after killing 3 NBs. She had no card in hand or field, and 100lp left. I had Prime mat. a 1700 atk monster and a 1900 atk monster on the field with 700lp left. Well, guess what? She top deck Seal of the Rose, take Prime Mat. and chop my 1700atk monster, just nice 700lp gone. %&(@#*&$% - On side note, I purposely raped her another 10 times after that before I moved on though 3 was sufficient.

Not sure why Baha has so much trouble with the 1900s though, unless he has not been buying packs. I havent really had trouble with my share of big monsters so far but... DP is seriously hard to earn... Go away banana... Anyway, I will give more info when I get much further in the game, seriously very little playing time at the moment.

Ah... Growing up sux........

Edit: New gay character to look out for in the 2nd area, there's this guy using a light somewhat control deck, with rai ou, T45, shining angel etc. It is too STRONG when you kenna full monster hand and your opponent somehow keeps throwing honest at you. By turn 6, as in 3 turns each, I died to onslaught of shining angels and nova... Why? 3 honest used in the 3 turns is too strong... knn....

Stardust Accelerator

..is hard! Much harder than Tagforce 3!

This game is so unforgiving that once you lost to cpu in the story mode, you have to bloody restart from your last save point! Having to go through all that conversation is kinda irritating.

How the hell can you not lose if your deck is some scrubby starter deck and your opponent spam 1900 monsters like it's free!

Once my opponent summoned Natural Beast 3 times! I don't have so many bottomless traphole!

Oh and getting chased by security is retardation! Avoiding obstacles and then towards the end you crashed and have to restart "from your last save point" is $%#^&!

I miss the normal Yugioh days where you lead your life as a normal duelist and not run away like criminal...

Side update: I just got pro stormed by CPU o.O
