[Card Review] Demonic Motor Ω

LE10-JP007
Demonic Motor Ω (デモニック・モーター・Ω)
Dark/Machine/8/2800/2000
During your End Phase, special summon a [Motor Token] (Earth/Machine/1/200/200) to your field in attack position. Once per turn increases this card's attack strength by 1000. When this effect is used destroy this card at End Phase of that turn.
Ah, what a perfect card. LOL. It does not have the stupid unable to summon from deck thingy like Big Saturn, so it makes this card very monster gate spammable. In fact, it even summons a token on to your field, helping out with monster gate decks.
For the token, assuming it survives to your turn of course, there are also several things you can do with them. You can use the new forced rotation for normal monster with this baby, you can monster gate it away for even more machine fire power, you can use the new revival necklace to summon out more items. You can sac it away for monarchs *Gack* The only problem is that its in attack position so you'll have to think of some method to protect it I guess. If not, just leave it and pray. That's probably what I'll do, heh. Not in my idea to play protective stuff in my deck.
With regards to its second, and IMO better effect of course. It allows you to increase the attack by 1000, and it dies at the end of the turn. Sounds similar to the veteran players? Its old karate man returned with a new cool looking army tank! This is very nicely machine spammable as compared to Big Saturn, since you do not have to pay 1k LP and discard 1 hand for the effect to take place, even though it dies in the end phase. But hey, machines are all about that 1 turn anyway. Summon it, activate effect to 3800, attack and damage step 7600. Just the thing we need. Further, as per previous effect, it will die off, but you can use its effect to summon a token first before it dies.
Now, on to its stats. Its dark and bigger then 2500, playable with dddv and the new ddv for m/t? Not sure how much use is that. The important thing for me is that its 2800, just that nice bit bigger then Gorz even without using its effect. Quite good enough for me. And of course, being an 8 star allows you to use it with all the nice machine fusion monsters for metamorphesis.
Comparing it to the big saturn, well. I like this art more then big saturn for sure. And for summoning, it does not have the restrictions as per big saturn, making it more fun. Finally on to effect, well..... As you guys probably know by know, machine deck kills by some how clearing all obstacles, then going in for the big kill. If the otk fails, you're in trouble anyway, no matter what you do. (If you didn't know this, please fix a time for a duel with me.) With that, the effect of big saturn dealing d ring damage is useless, as it only applies to opponent destroying it. During your turn of an otk, assuming you've cleared all obstacles, that usually is not very useful. Then as compared to big saturn, you do not need any cost to up the attack on this tank as compared to big saturn. So yupz, you guessed it. I like this baby much better.
Well, havent really thought of any crazy combos for this thing save for the obvious limit break, so nothing much in the combo area. I'll think of something and keep you guys updated. Till then, ciaossu.

This card can only be special summon from Fusion deck by returning the above monsters from your field to deck (The Magic card [Fusion] is not required). This card cannot be destroyed as result of battle. WHen this card is face-up on the field increase this card's attack strength by 10000 during your turns.
Comments: Not a big fan of super-hard-to-summon monsters. Not even a 10k attack monster will make me form a deck jus to summon this!

Negate the activation of Magic and Trap cards targeting this card and destroy it. When a monster face-up on your field is target of attack, by sending a Magic/Trap card from your field to Graveyard, you can change the target of that attack to this card.
Comments: This can be very strong. Can be special summoned from grave and a decent negation effect. I don't like my monsters to be Brain Washed or Snatch Steal-ed. And it's just so coool~~

This card cannot be Normal Summoned. This card cannot be special summon outside of by sending 3 monsters from your field to Graveyard. When this card is successfully special summoned flip a coin and this gains the following effects:
- Head: When this card destroyed an opponent's monster as result of battle and sent it to Graveyard, you can add a card from your Graveyard into your hand.
- Tail: Negate the activation of effect of effect monsters, Magic and Trap card targeting this card and destroy it. Whenever a card effect is negated this way, decrease this card's attack strength by 1000.
Comments: Another strong card. It can be a little troublesome since it's not like BlooD where you sacrifice monster. Sending monster to grave means cannot use tokens =( Both effects are strong, prefer first effect though.

Card Blocker (カードブロッカー)
Earth/Warrior/3/400/400
When this card is successfully Summoned, Reverse Summoned, or Special Summoned, put it in defense mode. When a monster face-up on your field is target of attack, you can change the target of that attack to this card. When this card is target of attac, you can send up to the top 3 cards from your deck to Graveyard. For each card sent, increase this card's defense strength by 500 until End Phase.
Comments: Not as strong as Card Gunner since it doesn't have the "when this card is destroyed, draw 1 card" But well...

When this card is face-up on your field, decrease the attack and defense strength of all face-up monsters on the field outside of Angel type by 500. Also the activation of your Magic/Trap card cannot be negate.
Comments: Another decent card. Second effect is quite useless unless you are fighting Counter deck lol.

Earth/Beast-Warrior/8/3000/1200
THis card can be Normal Summoned without sacrifice. If so, this card's original attack strength becomes 1900. If you sacrifice 3 monsters to sacrifice summoned this card, destroy all cards on opponent's field.
Comments: Best card in the LE10 series. 1900 beat stick, 8 star calls for more metamorphose abuse, and as for the field destruction effect I don't need explain ok?

Discard a card from your hand, put a Ice Counter onto a face-up monster on the field. Increase this card's attack strength by number of Ice Counters on the field * 300.
Comments: I wish konami would print a magic card that puts Ice Counters instead of discarding my hand =(
Overall, both packs are good. But I think Holy White packs will be more popular due to Barbaros and DS will probably buy all the Demonic Motors. Did I mention all the card pictures are very very nice =D Sorry but I don't provide pictures lol.

[Review] Dual Monsters
Dual
- They are treated as normal monsters when on face up on the field/in grave.
- When they are normal monster and face up on the field, you can Re-Summon them again and they will gain the effect stated on the card.
- Re-summoning uses up your 1 normal summon per turn.
- For high level monsters, you dont have to tribute again.
- During re-summon, they can be affected by cards like [Bottomless Pitfall], [Torrential Tribute] etc.
Why Dual monsters?
- They get support from normal monster cards such as Justice Break, Dark Factory ah you all know lah, stuff like that.
And now to review the monsters. I'm just gonna put names. For full stats and effect, refer to DMComet TAEV translation file.

Best card ever. Not because it is dual, but because it can be abused with the various E Hero cards. Dual effect wise, I would say crap but beats using the big Neos lol.

Attacking twice is always good (remember the Chaos Soldier days). But then again, it's not easy to attack succesfully. Can be strong, but I personally dislike it.

Decent effect. Some might argue that you might as well use Don Zaloog instead of Allisa, but being water means you can use it with Water Technique for more hand discards =D

This might be good, after all 2100 attack monster is not funny. But of course, considering that you waste a normal summon, sacrificing for a high level would be better. And there is always Cyber Dragon.

Another playable effect. Can be used to swarm the field easily. No card lost since it can special summon other demons.

Even though it's a high level, it can be searched by UFO turtle. And burning 1000 per turn is not exactly cute. Lock Burn decks might consider?

Shadow Diver
Again, even though this might be searchable, you have to activate it's dual effect by using a normal summon. So the only monster that you would use it's effect would probably be itself. Direct attack for 1500 can be fun.

Thoughts on TAEV
Headed down on friday to open some packs, and bought about 22. The items I got were namely
Hell Kaiser Dragon (019)
Piper of Fortune (021)
Not very good results for 22 packs, but well, I managed to get all the commons and rares I wanted, including 2 of the common rare,Compensation of Battlefront Revival. Managed to scam my 3rd one the next day.
Then saturday, I joined in midway of the sure to win with baha as mentioned below. Got quite lucky i guess. Here are my items....... (All card numbers from our dear www.dmcomet.net, please go there for translations as well)

And that's it! Hmmm, yup, I'm such a scam. I did get another common rare, Fortune Teller of Crystal, but I owe Steven 1 as 1 of my revival I scammed from him, so I let him take the fortune teller. One thing you guys may like to note though, there are 4 common rares in this set. Meaning you will get only 1 out of the 4 common rares in a entire box. Meaning if you're lucky enough, you will get a full playset after buying 3 boxes? Hmmm. Strange cards, I will mention which ones are they below.In the mean time, let's get a quick peek at our blog master, right after he has laid his hands on the legendary broken bamboo sword as well as well as 2 other godly foils in a single box..........
Well anycase, enough on my scamming expertise, here are the various cards which I took some interest in, though sadly, all none machine.
Hound Dragon
- Not much use cause it's a yellow monster? Look again, it's actually a 1700 3 star dragon, which makes it equippable on cyber dark monsters. That makes those buggers a nice major 2500, instead of the previous 2200 cap. More then enough to take out those irritating monarchs you see around.
Necro Guardna
- Quite strong IMO. Its a bloody warrior, making it very searchable, it's 4 star and below, reinforcement, critter, etc. Then it's a dark monster with 1k lesser attack (DDV does it again). Finally, it's allows you to get its effect for nothing, save for removing it from grave. Though otk lovers like me will see it and take note of it, but hey, still very good.
E-Hero Another Neos
- Imbalanced for a simple reason. Its a bloody 1900, searchable by the in-famous airman, re-usable via ocean (man?), etc. The usual warrior, blah blah, comes in. Whoever is tempted to use it's dual effect, don't. Look for imbalance fellow blogger to see his deck for a good idea on how to use this ass.
Devil's Summoner
- Quite power IMO. If you get the chance, activate his dual right away. You wun lose out anything. You still summon whatever demon you have in the grave, in exchange for just losing out a summon for that first turn. If you have card of safe return on the field, even better. Especially usable for all those people who insist on using chaos monsters and spam demons in their deck just to call out the chaos thingys. Only prob? Its not a demon itself, so..... But hey, still super aggro, no mistake about that.
Fortune Teller of Crystal
- Common rare no 1. Imbalance for 2 simple yet strong reasons. Searchable via apprentice magician, as well as filters the deck while giving you free hand at the same time. I can just see the combo. Opponent hits your apprentice, you search for the fortune teller. Next turn, you flip open, choose 1 of those monarchs and sac the crystal girl for them. All for the cost of 1 apprentice magician you gain like, 2 card advantage as well as get deck filtering? Shiver...
Zomebie Master
- Shall not bother to say too much, look at baha's deck for imbalance-ness.
Dual Summon
- Hmmm, the only card with lots of OTK ideas for this. Sadly, a bulk of them involves my dear franky in the deck. Well, I shall not comment too much on this thing least i get scolded by everyone again.
Compensation of Battlefront Revival
- Common rare no 2. Lots of ideas for this card. Both machine, and non machine. I shall not comment too much on this little thingy. Just wait patiently for my deck list, should be up in about a week or so.
Broken Bamboo Sword
- Common rare no 3. Zilth, nada. Nobody anywhere can think of any use for this card, at all. Our only hope? Wait for the next pack/promo set and see if anything is released that uses this little sword. The worse common rare at the moment.
Charity of Commoner
- Personally i call this card commoner's donation. You know, angelic donation, blah blah? Yeah. Anyways, a very good drawing card, with lots of potential. Use it with skill of summoner, search for your big yellow things, then get them out of game, draw 2 cards, D Fusion, blah blah. Sadly, machine has no big yellow thingys, so this combo out for me. But, well, it's still a very good normal monster support card.
Giftcard
- Common rare no 4. Well, only a couple of cards i can think for this one. Don't ask me card names, I'm not sure. First one is the self destruct switch thingy, when you have 7k lp or more lesser then opp, draw game. Second is the exchange lp with opp when you guess type of top card correctly. Finally third is the change lp gain into reduce that permanent trap card, dun know name also. Not that I care anyway, I will never use such a card. But hey, if anyone could show me any cool combo for this thingy, show it to me man.
That's quite about my review i guess? I'm not a supporter of dual monsters (No machines) and the venom monsters (No machines), so dun ask me about them, heh. And that makes the end of my god length post. Till my next post kiddys, duel fun, and play fair.

Well the deck will obviously be raped by anything from Macrocosmos to Oppresion, but well....
I guess that's about it, very straight forward. No complicated combos involved =/

[Review]Tactical Evolution
Disclaimer: The following are only what I think, you may agree/disagree with my views but well screw it, it's my blog, I can do whatever I want bwahaha >=D

Ok here goes, in no particular order.
#1 Necro Guardna
This is a pretty useful card since it doesnt lose you any card and it prevents one attack! Very good against OTK (CoughdssuxCough) And of course it prevent one attack from the now very popular Advanced ritual technique decks. And well lets not say what DD Crow and watever nonsense you wann use to remove the grave. I take it as a non existent card so yah, feel free to remove, you waste one card, not my problem.
#2 Crystal Fortune Teller
I guess I don't need to emphasize how good this card is and of course as I am such a Card Drawing Whore, I would recommend 3 in every deck. Run with Apprentice for good results =D
# 3 Capture Device
A Creature Swap with a really fake drawback. I guess its pretty strong since you can by pass the draw back =/
#4 Zombie Master
I think this card has alot of potential. It is searchable via Pyramid Turtle/Goblin Zombie. It has a decent stats, and a very good effect. You can easily summon another copy of itself and swarm the field or something, or throw a high level and then Book of Living and so on.
#5 Magic/Trap Capture
More weird cards which I dunno good or not haha. Yes I know you get to take back a magic/trap but nowadays not much good cards to spam also. So OTK deck maybe? I can already imagine DS Limit break twice, bitch.

Just gonna add this in. I can't beleive I missed this card during my first review. Oh well, I was mostly looking at effect anyways but then I realise this thing has really imbalance stats lol. Ok excuses aside, this is like the best thing to search with Airman. Searchable with Reinforcement/ Emergency Call, and can be special summoned by Oversoul/Birthright and so on. It's so easily abusable. Must lay low and start buying in bulk liao lol =X
Not gonna go into the other cards like Rainbow Dragon and Frost Flame Twin Dragon and etc since I already did them.
Weird Decks to play:
- Gem Beast again with Rainbow Dragon!
- E Hero + Hope of Fifth MPT or something
And no I am not a snake fan so I'm not even gonna bother trying the Venom cards. And besides, I dont think it's that easy to summon the Naga and get the alternate win condition. If you get it to big enough, just ram a few times win liao -_-

Well, what do you guys think? Its quite like the same bazoo trooper as the original champion deck from the UDE side. However, I have editted the deck quite abit to suit my own needs. For one thing, it has more machines, though just abit more. Secondly, it has overload fusion. Thirdly, more agressive and less passive-ness. The original deck was filled more with tons of sakuretsu armors, earth smash, etc, as it tried to do the usual UDE OTK method. Slow the game down till you draw everything and go for the win.
However, as usual, I dislike slow decks, though I took the ideas from this deck for its potential for speed. This version is very fightable, where it does not require to 'hum'. I use brain control and enemy controller instead to take control of opponent's monsters to deal even more damage instead of just clearing his field.
Well, I shall refrain from speaking too much about this deck, as I think I will start to talk about it like the card gunner review, haha. Just a note though, this is a temporary deck, as I plan to add antique gears into this deck. As to how it will go, this is all up to your imagination.
