Ah time passes so quickly and we are here again at this time of the year.
As we all know that this banlist has just too much Synchro raping ranging from the all famous Syncro Undead ( aka Cronde in Japan) to Dark Dive based (aka SDL aka Super Draw Raida in Japan) which is supposed to be a turbo deck aiming to kill you on that turn..
Main Culprits this time round would be Emergency Teleport and Zombie Carrier. Back then it was Rescue Cat and Summon Priest, and look what happened to them. I don't know how are they gonna fix Dark Dive though, it is like so god damn powerful people are dying here and there on the first turn.
Note: This is just a prediction, not an actual list. Disagree, I don't really care. This is just my own personal thought =D
The main reason behind this list is to slow down the current meta.
To be going in:
Emergency Teleport
People are whining why oh why must teleport go in. Because it is too overpowered. That is all.
Allure of Darkness
D Hero Diabolic Guy
Yes another card that speeds up your deck.
Reinforcement of the Army
I don't know, but 3 feels really really good lol.
Mezuki
Not one of those card that speeds up you deck, but loops with Undead Synchro too well.
Gladiator Beast Bestiari
No one really plays GB anymore but hey, I don't want another metagame of GB again.
Tragoedia
Gorz died, and this should too.
Mind Control
The same reason as why all other control changing card with no cost are restricted.
Dark Armed/Judgement
Every card that special summons itself by the effect of "when you have xxx in grave" AND can destroy the field for almost no card resources are banned. Thanks for coming.

Yeah I thought of that too but the deck runs really smoothly.
Pattern 1: The OTK
Discard Diabolic to special summon Grepher.
Grepher effect discard a dark for Zombie Carrier.
Summon Junk Synchron to summon Carrier.
Carrier and Diabolic turns into Dark End.
Dark End effect remove a monster.
Dark End (2100) + Grepher (1700) + Junk (1300) = 5100
Synchro Grepher and Junk for Dark Dive
Shoot Dark End (1600) and Dark Dive (1400)
Total Damage 8100. Not enough? Shoot that extra Diabolic for another 1200 if you have too. Look like an impossible 4 card combo but all of them can be searched by Reinforcement of the army so I don't see any problem.
Pattern 2: Not dead yet?
Special summon Vice Dragon/Cyber Dragon and tribute it for Gaius targetting anything that is dark. Burn hell yeah! If you manage to burn and do a direct attack it is mostly a win.
That is basically it. There are many ways to go around it and yes Necro Guardna is too strong!
Reminder: Please do not be a noob and use mind control and then shooting it away with Dark Dive.

Raging Battle Reviews
Alright guys, time for me once in a long while post again. Well, but I only post when something interesting in released anyway (Damn Gold Series, I shall begin Watapon burning ceremony as well! Dueling days bloggers are cursed, though sadly this blogger is poorer then the other blogger)
Anywayz, the topic for today is the upcoming pack in Febuary Raging Battle! Heres a few notable cards from me and some thoughts about them!
Level Warrior!
Time to throw out your Magical warrior, imo, this thing is better to use. Sure you lose out on the direct attack and the take no damage effect, but this will let you summon your monarchs for those Monarch tele decks, and yet, work well with your synchro decks at the same time. If you use cards like debris dragon, it will also easily bring out DDB, black rose, etc. So not bad card, no?
- BF Series
BF-Blizzard of the north pole
Easy Goryu guardian/Brionac? Effect also reusable with dark eruption, etc. This may also be a common search target for Black Whirlwind. Just summon something and hit, search blizzard, if that dies next turn summon blizzard and hey it comes back.
BF - Arms Wing
Best target to summon out with Blizzard, plus it makes for a 2800 trample monster. So I guess BF will concentrate on 6 stars, with goryu to take out atk mode monsters, Arms wing to take out defense mode, delta crow take out m/t, sounds like a toolbox deck is coming into shape, no?
Black Whirlwind
Quite imbal imo, considering the 2 cards from previous set which states sp summon when you have a BF on field. So this makes it as more like a, once per turn, sp summon 1 BF from deck kinda effect. Up to you to use Black wind, dark eruption or whatever methods, but end pt is having BF in hand to normal summon and spam with whirlwind is abit TOO easy imo.
Delta Crow - Anti Reverse
If you main deck copies of the sp summon monsters from previous pack with black whirlwind, this card is TOO easy to use. Somehow Im reminded of Mai's harpy deck from the anime which had 3 harpy feathers to main.

Urgent Synthesis
Free revivals are alwasys good, though this card's condition MAY be abit difficult.
Reckless Power
Well, another m/t destroyer, looks quite good, considering that it is easy to have steel core in hand once you draw it, and m/t destroyer is always desirable.
Automatic Laser
Similar condition as Reckless power, and also very easy to use. This card covers all the 1k to 1.9k atk monsters, which are quite everywhere in tele decks. So its useful, but stronger then bottomless? Well this card takes out krebenos, so....
Well, the more notable monsters have already been mentioned so enough about that. As mentioned by Baha, looks interesting, but imo not enough support yet (More like the current support abit useless) so this will have to wait abit more.
- DEFORMER SERIES!
Alright people, here's my review on the new deformer cards which you guys have been waiting for. Or rather, more like I will put the combos into place. As mentioned by Baha, the key cards in the new combo will be videon, junk box, and one for one. And of course, the star is as per usual, mobilephon. The new cards however, make deformers from a "block and direct attack until I win", into a "quick summoning and deal high damage direct deck"
The main card in this combo will be One for One, as it searches out Mobilephon, while loading the grave yard at the same time. Simple combos such as, dropping radio, summon mobilephone, hopefully mobilephone effect hits and radio cassette comes out, Junkbox revive radio and tadah, standard deformer combo of 900 + 1800 + 2000 + 2000 = 6700 damage!
For more combos using remocon, it will consist of either dropping remocon with one for one, then revive remocon with junk box, remove a 4 star in the grave to search out which ever 4 star monster you lack (radio or cassette) and the usual spam field.
Furthermore, with the deck built up with remocon, it is rather stable to play up to 2 copies of DDR, at least from what I can see. So the field gets even bigger by playing DDR so this turns into a full sp summon deck. With 2 DDR and 1 power of unity in the deck, assuming you dont draw 1 of them, you can also summon the new power tool dragon! So you either increase your field size with DDR, or increase damage with unity. Either way is good, and you can consider more equips to go about it.
There are several more combos which are available in this deck as a searcher, such as removing old copies of remocon in grave to search for bodon to allow direct attacks and so on. You can even consider playing even more equips and using videon in the main deck to up the damage. But in the end, its up to your playing style to see how you want to build it.
I only know 1 thing, Im removing D-field from my deck for sure, 3 copies of junk box and one for one for me! For a deck list, you will have to slowly wait until after confirmed ban list is released. I usually take my own sweet time to build decks during this period.

Thoughts on Raging Battle
Black Feathers
If anyone has seen the spoilers you would know how much more powerful BF are gonna get. I think they might have a chance at being a competitive deck not that it already isn't. I'm sure some of us has seen BF decks appearing here and there in some tournament scene. I'm just gonna select a few cards that really have potential.
Blizzard of the North Pole
- A junk synchron-ish effecy. Easy synchro and great to swarm the field to do that Delta Crow Anti Reverse! (More on this later)
Shura of the Azure Flame
- Another super card to help you swarm the field. Which card allows you to summon another big 1800 beatstick after killing a monster! And we all thought Hydrogeddon was gay!
Black Whirlwind
- Is swarm the new in thing? I hope Konami puts something to control this people.
Delta Crow Anti Reverse
- Harpy Feather Sweep! Nothing can be Gayer! It is probably situational and it probably won't replace Heavy Storm but hey, it was really crazy back in the days of Harpy Feather + 2 Heavy Storm and 3 Cyclones! GG Metabeat/GB/Permission decks!
The most important thing is, they are all dark. Dark Armed is like a natural thing to add in here and then there is also Allure. The deck would have that draw speed, that crazy summon OTK thing which will also end with a Dark Dive here and there with no problem at all. The thing to do now is look for that Sirroco now while you still can!
Core Chimairs
Another new theme that is introduced. All of them requires the Steel Core or their monster type for upkeep but all the monsters have really strong effect!
Core Chimair Drago
- This is crazy good, 4 star 1900 dragon which prevents all light and Dark monster from getting special summoned!
Core Chimair Devil
- This is also crazy good! Negating all effect of monsters in the field plus the grave.
The rest are pretty normal but still good generally. I am too lazy to read about the rest of them but we'll see what happens =)
Deformers
Next on the list is Deformers. I think I would leave it to DS to elaborate on the theme since he is more familiar with it but from what I can see, the following cards have huge potentials as well. They can do alot of deck searching, and generally for Card Games, the deck that has the most consistentcy wins!

- One for one
- Junk Box

Fuck yeah finally ONE foil Brionac lol. NO MORE OPENING OF GOLD SERIES FOR ME!!!!!!

2) something is wrong with the shipment to funz.
Total of me plus steven, we opened like about 10 boxes and 0 Brionac. YES ZERO! Not even a freaking common one. The god of luck has forsaken us!!!!!!! orz
In order to gain the favor of the Duel Monster god of luck (and to express my extreme anger) I have decided to burn one Watapon for each day till someone who pity the watapons burning in flames gives me one Brionac (or sell me one)!
