No 6. OOParts Atlantal


2 Level 6 monsters
When this card is Xyz Summoned: Target 1 "Number" monster in your Graveyard; equip that target to this card. This card gains ATK equal to half the ATK of the monster equipped by this effect. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and send 1 card equipped by this effect to the Graveyard; halve your opponent's Life Points. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this effect.

More cards with ridiculous effects. Not extremely difficult to summon, and reducing your opponent's life by half is a big deal, especially if you are starting first.

Inzector can summon this with a decent hand (Dragonfly,Hornet,Weevil) even though one can probably OTK if you have that same hand.

And then there is Infernity and their retarded loop. Summon Atlantal 3 times, leave opponent with 1000 lp, summon Photon Streak Bouncer, insert trollface.

What do you guys think of this card?

  3. I bet someobe out there will be able to think of a way for infernities to summon 2 Atlanthal then a Gustaph Max.

    Wont be surprised if this becomes a new Divine Performance. XD

  4. first you have to get a number in the grave. so you cant do it first turn. really this card isnt that broken

  5. If it's being veiler-ed, it can no longer equip XYZ monster the following turns so yea, thank god it's not a once per turn effect.

  7. How infernities can XYZ into rank6 so easily to summon 3 times the Number 6 and then the Bouncer?

    Anyways, i'm really waiting the Divine Performance ^^

    1. They can synchro 6 pretty easily, and with Brio loops you can easily search an Infernity destroyer to discard and revive later

  8. i forsee this effect getting changed before release because the only other card in the game capable of perfoming this feat atleast requires some mild effort.

  12. Hmm, as I fail at learning from videos, I am stuck for this loop. What does the loop need to start, how does it work, what cards do you need to main to have it happen assuming you start from dragunity with Atum? Getting the loop in text would also be nice.

    1. For this specific combo you need Dux, phalanx in grave and a Instant fusion. 3 other random hand cards for discards.

      But for normal dragunity route, you only need Dux + instant or Mysteltain + Dux for a normal OTK. (With phalanx in grave)

Ah thanks, from playtesting I have found that if you skip out on the Mist Valley engine you just need a way to spam a single level 6 at a certain point in the combo, such as malicious or Light-Pulsar. This means that the combo can be run with instants and a single Mist Valley Roc teched in an OCG Chaos Dragunity build, combine with your info on what is in hand.

      In deck
      Instant Fusion
      One Mist Valley Roc
      An extra deck very similar to the one in the video, you will have very little wriggle room around yours. I add Five-God Dragon for FF
      Optional, additional lvl 6 spam, such as destiny hero malicious (comes in as two copies) and Light-Pulsar dragon (is awesome otherwise so I run it at three)

      In hand @start

      Instant fusion
      A combination of fieldspell, Dux and Phalanx and white of legend (because discarding it searches a BEWD) that comes out that you have 5 cards in hand including Dux with phalanx in grave
      Something to spam a lvl 6 later in the combo, example would be malicious as one of those last 3 cards, or a lightpulsar. I tentatively think that you can get away with a lightpulsar in hand even though pulsar is a -1 from handsize because you can plus of Gaedarg milling a white stone of legend.

      This seems like the best approach to the FTK as not having the mist valleys means you can play much more like a non-FTK Chaos Dragunity build if it doesn't go off, especially since it requires instant which makes the combo fairly inconsistent.
