Interesting tech for the meta

So basically over the last few days, I've been looking at either tech to further improve the deck, or basically more side deck material. Also been looking at other decks, and here's some of the useful things I've found which I believe is especially good this meta.

Koa'ki Meiru Drago
This is pretty deck specific since it requires an upkeep every turn of revealing a Dragon. That being said, this is pretty much one of the strongest monsters that can be used. It blocks Light special summons, so no sudden Hyperion, Krystia, BLS, or any ball summoning to get Gachi Gachi out. Blocking dark as well means it blocks the TG varient tricks as well with no Werewolf special summons, and even if they do Striker + Venus, basically all the 5 star synchros they use are dark/light so they cant do much on it anyway. The Dragunity decks that have success in Japan share the same point, they main 3 of this and managed to lock down their opponents, till they either beatdown the opponent, or manage to summon their boss monster to otk and win.

Ally Salvo
This is pretty good side deck material in my opinion. Its generic so it fits all decks, even mirror matches for TG Agents, though Krystia is probably better. Being a dark sets up your own grave as well to activate your own BLS or Chaos Sorc. And lastly being 2 star and below 500 attack means it allows you to use Debris as well as Junk Synchron for Junk Doppel diehards. Some of you may prefer AOJ Core Destroyer, but this is better in my opinion since it hits 2 cards, and you can just set it so it will be unexpected.

Ally of Justice Quarantine
This is a new personal favourite of mine. Its pretty generic since you dont have to worry about the steep upkeep that Drago has. It similarly blocks all the generic tricks that any Agent related deck can do by blocking the Light special summons. Though it does not block the level 5 synchros or Werewolf special summons like Drago does, not having to build a deck around the tech makes it worth while. And of course 1700 is just nice fit enough to take out a Venus, making its stats pretty good enough. Even if your opponent does a dark synchro and kills Quarantine, it would have hopefully made him use his Venus in the summon, making him have to dig for another Venus. If not, at least hes slowed down by a turn and you can do your own combos the following turn. And of course, being a 4 star machine means it fits in nicely into my Machina Karakuri for my synchro purposes.

Hope the above helps!

  3. Have to agree, the Anti-Meta deck of this format could be Hopeless/Disaster Dragon build thanks to Koa'ki Meiru Drago.

  4. Been using Ally Salvo for almost a year now, I have never been disappointed by it. So long as Lights are relevant in the meta, it is in my side. My only complaint with it is having to suicide into stuff to help guarantee it goes off, instead of dying while face down. Taking a lot of life points is sometimes uncomfortable, but then again, so is losing :P

  5. Actually, Kyocoo is not exactly effective in my opinion. Kycoo dies to Venus and Gachi Gachi plays, you can still remove Agents from hand/field to summon Hyperion and it does nothing to stop Krystia from being summoned, other then hopefully removing monsters from the grave to hopefully prevent Krystia's condition from being met. That is just the pure build and not counting the T.G varient which can easily summon Trishula and other various monsters once theres a Striker/Werewolf available.

Tatami flip hits only Earth. Eventually they will still draw into Venus and the problem will begin from there. And of course they may have started already with Venus in hand and thats where you curse and swear :)

  6. Can you post a video of you siding this cards in your Karakuri Machina plant deck (the life completer) against a agent or lightsworn/twilight deck?

  7. Every blog I spot, it's Allies of Justice all around... Ally of Justice cards are seriously becoming anti-meta this format:
    - Ally Salvo
    - Ally of Justice Quarantine
    - Ally of Justice Core Destroyer
    - Ally of Justice Cycle Reader

  8. I'm not surprised!

Ally of Justice are like tier 4 but they were made especially to fight the Light of Destruction!(Get it?Light?Destruction?Light of Destruction?Chaos Format?XD)

  9. I'll probably side a Salvo and a Core Destroyer or Quarantine in my Chaos Agents. (In the mirror/LS match I'm planning on siding out a good bit of the Agent setup for a more Chaos Stun build fully equipped with Rai-Oh and such. If necessary I'll just side deck double Mind Crush and a few Dimensional Fissures. But yes Dimensional Fissure although susceptible to Leviair is still good enough to warrant use to stop LS and Junk variants. While at the same time hindering Agents big monsters. D.D. crow is a great side-deck card this format though.

  10. I think this guy would be good,

    Ally of Justice Decisive Armor
    Attrib: Dark
    Type: Machine/Synchro/Effect
    Level:10
    Atk: 3300
    Def: 3300
1 Tuner + 2 or more non-Tuner monsters Once per turn, if your opponent controls a face-up LIGHT monster(s), you can activate 1 of these effects: • Select 1 Set card your opponent controls, and destroy it. • Send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy all Spell/Trap Cards your opponent controls. • Send all cards in your hand to the Graveyard to look at your opponent's hand and send all LIGHT monsters in their hand to the Graveyard. Then, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the total ATK of the opponent's monsters sent to the Graveyard.

especially decks that can bring level 10 out easily ^^
