DSummon and Dueling Network

So yup, Im in Dueling Network too. (For some reason I keep typing Duelingdays when Im only planning to type Dueling) In short, I just call it Duelnet, much shorter.

For quite the first time, I am now able to play against TCG, which makes it quite an experience. Seen quite a range of full competitive decks, like the usual Six Sam, GraveBF and such, and then some fun decks as well, like Jurracs.

However, the A.S.S system kinda pisses me off, since it lets people make an ass of themself after they know they are about to lose or unhappy about some ruling. Even had to give in to others several times about rulings simply cause they insisted and I wanted the game to carry on.

Stuff such as:
1) Necrovalley is on the field, opp summons Recruiter. I activate Bottomless, and he claims Bottomless only targets base attack. Told him to read the card, and he clicks A.S.S, lame...
2) Scrap Dragon on field since ages ago. I use effect to destroy Book of Moon in Main Phase 1 which he chains, then claims I cant flip back up Scrap Dragon cause it was just 'set'.
3)Idiot of an opponent tries to use Gift Card during the standby phase while Bad Reaction to Simochi on the field, and doesnt even allow me to use my Chaos Infinity during the draw phase, since I could have summoned Extrio with a Summoner already set on the field. When I say I want to use it first in Draw phase, then he says he wants to use it in draw phase then. (Yes, he could have chained to Chaos Infinity, but its the game etiquettes here that I was pissed off about, it was my turn and not his for christ sakes)
4) And of course there are all the people who just click A.S.S when they know they have lost...

Despite all the idiotic people above who get me pissed off, in the end I still like DuelNet, and the chance to actually play against TCG players for once. And of course there are players who are nice and are willing to discuss rulings. Look out for me and duel me if you see me~

PS: To the guy who went "OMG, you are DSummon" and I D/Ced right away, apologies, my net died for some reason. No offense but, the timing was extremely funny for me LOL

  1. I saw you on there and instantly had to watch your duels. You went up against an idiot who changed his mind about responding to you summoning Genex Neutron AFTER you summoned Birdman. I felt your pain

  4. i really hated this network sometimes because u can just change the cards one the field to anything u want and it's not like tag force where in this one u can just cheat. i once played against a noob which told me he used his debris(invisible) to kill my monster. After 5mins of quarreling , he gave up and pressed the A.S.S -.- seriously ?

  5. Question, this came up in one of my duels.

I mind control the opponent's tuner monster. I normal summon a monster. He starts a chain using book of moon to flip face down his tuner monster that i have control of. Can I reflip the tuner monster to face up since i haven't technically done a manual change of the monster?

  6. Yup, you can. Noticed it on Duelnet actually. Alot of people have weird rulings for Book of Moon, like the Scrap Dragon one above

  7. I play on the duel net also. I usually only play high rated and rep players. So far only played one scrub. But if you start the duel saying "hi" they feel welcomed and things will go more smoothly. Just an experience.

  15. lol@all the people expecting a fully functional, automated game that prevents cheating...

sorry to disappoint you, but you have to regard duelnet more like a digitalized version of the rl game, where you just have to make every move with your own hand. The game is based on trust, but if you see your opponent cheating, you can always quit or call for a mod.

  16. Yeah, I'm experiencing DuelNet too. I didn't expect much, but it was funny & good.
Had 6 duels yesterday, of which 5 fun ones, 1 bad one.
One guy called me a cheat, because I said his Bottomless Trap hole didn't work on my Dimensional Alchemist. And before I could explain how it worked, he pushed the A.S.S. button (for those who didn't play yet: A.S.S. = anti sportmanship). Though I started to wonder how sportman-like it is to push that button if you don't like to lose an argument...

  17. Na the one i loved yesterday was he told me i couldnt do trishula's effect cause he had no card in hand so i said screw it i beat his monsters in the face then he summons brionac with no hand and says he can use the effect cause someone did it to him that way i told him you have to discard from your hand if it was from the field you'd either send from the field to the graveyard or you tribute it was a bicker back and forth then he a.s.s.ed me for it my friend was in the room laughin when he saw it

  18. it seems that many of them dont know to play yugioh at all.
yesterday i played a guy who sended with scrap shark, scrap beast and took it to the hand, he thought that the shark destroyed the beast in his deck and the beast added so himself in the hand :S
and we argued about that 5 minutes, with him saying to me that im a noob and that he knows his card effect blahblahblah.

  19. I get it that they are noobs, and they dont know the rules yet and so on,...but why wont they let u teach them how it really is ?

  20. I think they should turn the A.S.S into a report button so that they're could be some team that reviews it and not automatically getting a -5 rep.
