Day 1 in Japan

Hi guys, we finally made it into Japan! Arrived in Narita Airport at about 1pm and had to clear super long customs... After a long while, we went to the JR pass exchange office and go these~



Following that onwards to our trains!


In total, we took about 1 hr+ to get to Shinagawa, then another 2+ hours to reach Kyoto. Got some japanese bentos for lunch en route on the Shinkansen, but nothing exciting so no photos All in all, arrived at about 7.15.

However, as I found this great hostel which was however super hard to find, we finally arrived at the place only 1 hour later. Since it was so late, we just had a beef rice bowl and udon for dinner, went to 7-11 to buy some supplies and finally returned. All in all just a day spent travelling, but it's fun stuff! Will provide more pics tmr on the sights so keep a lookout guys! Woot~
