Well people, after a good 5 million years and some evolution of dinosaurs, blah blah, finally a new post! LOL. Well, baha is still busy with his usual item.... WOW... And me, busy with quite alot of work stuff, so, seriously have had no time. Well, with some luck, my fellow blogger will be joining us back soon, what with the new pack and all, so..... Anywayz, here's just some thoughts on the latest pack. BTW, get ready for a super long post, to make up for all the posts previously not made.
Just a list of some cards which I think has potential. For card effects, go to http://www.dmcomet.net/, courtesy of DMComet yah. *Drum roll* And now, in no order of merit....
Split Demon Rose
Cyber Vary
Dark Nephtys
Dark Armed Dragon
Knight of the End
Obsidian Dragon
Priestess Ohm
Evil Shinobi
Immortal Bushi
The Calculator
Blue Thunder T45
Dimensional Induced Explosion
Flame Of Demise
Books of Dark Realm
Rainbow Life
Release of Dark Dimension
Handicap Match!
Split Demon Rose
- Pretty strong actually. Of course, it doesnt have the imbal dandelion foolish burial to create token combo. However, it has actually a decent defense, and the tokens created actually have an attack and defense value, making them quite useful for attack/defense. Then of course, the usual sac for ladd, bloo-d, blah blah steps in.
Cyber Vary
- Woohoo, 3 effects, and all useful ones. And all 3 are very good for combo deck users. I know I have couple ready in case i think of a good deck for them already. Just put it face up on the field to just block the attack, and draw your card. Or, out of game it with another monster, maybe something you brain controlled? And draw 2 cards. Or then again, you can remove it with another card from hand to take back a card from grave. Maybe remove it and mobc to put back dimension fusion from the grave to top deck? Hmmm.....
Dark Nepthys
- Really strong stuff. If its in the deck, you can use it for your usual name prediction and stuff. In the hand, just remove 2 dark monsters to let it appear the next turn. If in the grave, just early burial it, the usual. And in all 3 situations, it will destroy 1 m/t when it appears. Hmmm, not bad if you ask me.
Dark Armed Dragon
- I believe there was this concern that maintaining exactly 3 was abit difficult. I know I had it. But darius (Not the gladial beast one) is now trying a deck with 3 nepthys and 3 of this dragon, and it actually works out pretty well. Look for him for details. And of course once you get beyond the summoning part..... Instant 2800 jumps on the field, with removal effect? Sounds like a CS/CED if you ask me.
Knight of the end
- Facilitates the 2 cards above, and supports many themes as well. Enuff said.
Obsidian Dragon
- A cyber phoenix for all dark monsters, and does not have the attack mode problem, plus a very strong defense to boot. Definelty recommended for anyone trying a pure dark + offensive deck.
Priestess Ohm
- Finally an even better cannon soldier, and quite imbalanced at that. From previously at 500 per shot, and requiring 16 monsters for the win, down to only 10. Seriously tons easier if you ask me.
Evil Shinobi
- LOL, alot of stupid ideas for this thing if you ask me. Stuff like, when people declare attack on it, just open any trap monster. Battle phase gets restarted, but you still draw one cause they declared attack on it. Not to mention the obvious, just use sakuretsu or holy barrier on the opponent, and you still draw the 1 card. Quite cute, imo.
Immortal Bushi
- I wonder why everyone who i mentioned this card to keeps telling me they have no warrior high levels. Shesh, just use this as a nice beat stick that keeps coming back. For the warrior beatdowns, just have a nice power of unity in the deck with this baby for some nice big attacks. Quite good imo.
The Calculator
- Seriously...... Strongest card in this pack if you ask me. Quite imbalanced. Similarly to card gunner, you can just early burial him then use reckless summoning, and viola, instant 3 monsters with 1800 attack on field. Paste another 4 star basic of any kind on field and they all become 3000 attack. If not, just simply summon him on the field, open a metal reflect slime and instant 3600 attack monster on field, no questions asked.
Blue Thunder T45
- Best monster for machine basic released yet I would say. Its stronger then hydrogeddon in the sense that you can always just put 1 of this in the deck, yet have the similar monster producing effect. Sadly, you cant sacrifice them for high levels, but the usual sac for ABBAB or just purely hitting on more opponent's monsters is still there.
Dimensional Induced Explosion
- Tons of ideas for this little card here. As to what they are...... Just look out for my deck this weekend, assuming im free, meanwhile, i'll just keep a lower profile, LOL.
Flame of demise
- Scapegoat, upgraded. You can now sacrifice the tokens produced, yet, not waste any turn since you can use it in the opponent's turn. However, the bad part is you cant even use it for the favourite ABB or for any thing at all, save for sacrificing for dark high levels. MOBC, blowback dragon, Jinzo... Best, REVOLVER DRAGON!!!!!
Books of dark realm
- Quite weird and a card which will not ever see actual play if you ask me. I placed this in the list, cause there is apparently an infinite combo for this card to get exodia for the win, and its another simple 3 card combo. However, to actually get to the state of having 7 cards in hand along with the 3 card combo on the field. Well, 2 on the field if you know what i'm talking about, means you need 9 cards to pull off this combo. 3 specific cards only, true, but still 9 cards to pull off?? Oh well, maybe somebody can show me, cause it sounds abit far fetched actually. Check out dmcomet's forum for details on the combo.
Rainbow Life
- Hmmmm...... I guess i will see this in alot of side decks. To say the truth, this card kinda spells the end of burn decks I believe. Just imagine the chain burn deck, doing the usual 5k + or so burn damage within the first turn, and having enough in hand to deal off the remainder by the next turn. Just then, you open this card, not only is the damage undone, but he now has 13k+ life instead. Scoop, I would say rounds it up nicely.
- Note, the way to use this card... Is practically from the point of time which after this card activates, till the end phase. I'm putting it here cause too many weird methods of playing this card now. Example shown below.
P1 Chain 1: Burn
P1 Chain 2: Burn
P1 Chain 3: Burn
P2 Chain 4: Rainbow Life
P1 Chain 5: Burn
P1 Chain 6: Burn
In this situation here, going by last in first out ruling, chain 5 and chain 6 will maintain their burn effect. After which, chain 4 rainbow life will activate, thereby practically changing the effects for the first 3 cards in the chain to adding the life instead of burning life. After the whole chain is completed, then will rainbow life's effect stay there for the rest of the turn.
Posting this, cause I have heard weird story about some people saying it somehow will kick in from the start till the end of the turn. Meaning, the chain 5 and 6 is affected as well. All I can say is...... READ PEOPLE. Its clearly written on the card effect from dmcomet. Dun get confused by the anime yah, thanks. (Side note: Anime's effect was exact opposite, the rainbow life will add back everything you kenna so far in this turn, meaning chain 5 and 6, but will do nothing to chain 1-3. Dun happily combine effects people......)
Release of dark dimension
- Another good normal rare, something i believe i will see being tested here and there. The temptation of keep calling mobc back sounds tempting to anyone, but yet, somehow i dun think i will see it take over the good old cry of living dead, so.... But there is that potential there, so I believe i will see it in action soon enough.
Handicap Match!
- Quite strong imo. It fits the deck nicely to summon out more monsters on the field, acts as a tutor, and fits along with the theme. 3 conditions to make this a great card i believe. Only problem would be that its a trap, and the standard gladial beast deck will probably run alexanders with royal palaces, so.....
And thats the end of this giant post i think? Not sure if you guys actually agree with my opinions of some of the cards here, or maybe some of you guys think I missed out something totally game changing. Feel free to just post in the chat box, and me and baha will be more then happy to shoot you guys down. I mean, discuss it in further detail. Well, till the next post, ta ta!

Yah I know, just few days ago saying I wont update lawl.
Recently I started watching the GX anime again. I missed alot of episodes along the judai and yubel crap coz well... it's too gay...
Omg The new drawing is soooo niceeeeee. Judai is forgiven after having 1 leg with yubel with the new awesome art. On the side note, that green/yellow eye shit is still gay.

TCG only cards info!
Well, the world of YGO has been abit slow the last couple of weeks, there hasnt been much updates, save for the release of the duelist pack, which has not really made an impact on the dueling world so far, save for some guys testing hell brat here and there. Thats quite the first reason for my lack of updates. Second reason is I've really been busy. Some of you know the reason as busy with work lah. The real reason, well........ Haha, if you know, shut up! If you dun, I dun care. Anywayz, I'm gonna try and do a few updates here and there as info is released, so the blog isnt totally dead at least.
Anyway, here are a couple of updates on TCG only cards, cause OCG is pretty quiet at the moment.
Water / Reptile / Effect
Level 4
ATK 1500/DEF 600
When Skreech is destroyed in battle and sent to the Graveyard, select two Water monsters from your deck and send them to the Graveyard.
- Hmmmm, whats the use of this card. For one, everybody's favourite frog can get sent in, without using foolish burial. Since TCG doesnt have foolish burial, this card is the best they get for now i guess. Not that strong a card, but hey, it gets their frog in, so, maybe some TCG players will be seen trying this out? Oh well, next!
Test Tiger
Beast / Earth
Level 3
ATK 600/DEF 300
If you control a “Gladiator Beast” monster, you may Special Summon this card. You may Tribute “Test Tiger” to return a "Gladiator Beast" monster you control to your Deck, then Special Summon a "Gladiator Beast" from your Deck. The new monster is treated like it was Special Summoned by the effect of a “Gladiator Beast.”
- A card for supporting the Gladial beast series. Quite interesting actually. With this card, secutor actually becomes not bad. You can pretty much normal summon 1 gladial beast, special summon test tiger, then switch for secutor, so that if you attack, you have 2 gladial beasts on the field after the battle phase. Though you cant get alexander out with this, but there are some interesting stuff you can choose, such as the ones to destroy m/t or monsters, or just the double striker, so.... quite a good trade off? But only useful for people playing gladial beasts, so... NEXT!
Dragon Ice
Water / Dragon
Level 5
ATK 1800/ DEF 2200
When your opponent special summons, you can discard a card to special summon this card from your hand or Graveyard. There can only be 1 face-up “Dragon Ice” monster on the field at a time.
- Again, the reason why I write these updates are usually triggered by 1 card, and this is it. On the side, you would think, this card is pretty normal, nothing so imbalanced about it. It helps you throw your frog and stuff into grave, making it no cost, and thats it? Well, there's more to it actually. Note the word, DISCARD. It doesnt show send. Doesnt that remind you of dark world? When your opponent actually revives a frog, or anything for that matter, summon a cyber dragon etc, you can just discard gold/silver, revive the dragon ice, and revive back the gold/silver as well. Even better? What if you had card of safe return on the field? From having 1 card of safe return on the field and only 1 dead gold in hand, if he special summons anything, it suddenly changes into having dragon ice, as well as gold on the field, while you draw 2 cards. Quite imbal ah? From 2 dead resource to 5 in just 1 move?
Even better thing is metagame has either made a mistake, or they are bending the rules, cause apparently by the metagame article, you can actually summon out this dragon ice in the damage step, since it even states killer tomato as an example. What happened to atk/def modifiers cards only? Hmmm, ah well.
Anyway, thats about it for my review. They have so far included 2 more cards in the secret rares, which is Soultaker, and Necroface. 2 cards which we've had for awhile, but now they're finally getting it. Hmmmm........ Not sure if that affects anything, but, well.... Anyway, thats it for now. My next update, will come when I see a new update which has something that interests me I guess. Till then Kiddies!
