[Tournament Report] 10/10/09

Khatib Tournament again~

Deck Used: MGS Synchro (Fiend Roar Deity)

Match 1: Neuxcharge (Lightsworn)

Game 1: I had a nice hand and start doing the usual combo and then I realise it was the first turn LOL! So I had to leave poor Ordoro on the field against the swarm of the Light Brigades!
Game 2: I sided 3 Cycle Leader which helped alot =D
Game 3: Summoned Mr Decisive Arms and he had Aurkus on the field. I just used Decisive Arms first effect to slowly clear the board.

Match 2: Anthony (Dragon/Dragunity)
OO
Game 1: Almost did an OTK with Shining Holy Wyvern but I wasn't at 8000 so he left a little LP.
Game 2: Won from massive card advantage and a very very big Shining Holy Wyvern.

Match 3: Shifu (Lightsworn)
XX
Game 1: I have a Lightsworn hand, no one will know I was playing MGS unless I told them! I mill like all my spells and stupid Hedgehogs with no Tuner/any MGS at all.
Game 2: Now this was a total opposite as I drew 3 Cruz with nothing interesting. Cycle Leaders did not help much =(

Result: Scrubbed + Creative deck prize of a ANPR double pack. (I got a XX Gatomz yet again....)

Khatib Tourney [26/09/09]

Deck used: Demon Roar God (feath Netdeck)

Match 1: Tele Undead XX
Game 1 was pretty much my opponent touching himself on the opposing side.
Game 2 was me and my bad hand.

Match 2: Dimension GB XX
Game 1 was opened with a Dimension Fissure and my Storm got bribed, totally downhill from there.
Game 2 side decked Iron wall which did its job before I blew it up for Black Rose and there was one point where I finally lead the game but due to my obsession with card draw I summoned Legion instead of Levuathan lol. So yes this was totally my own fault.

It is a hard deck to play!

You are probably wondering why every tourney report has this common phrase of "Oh I have bad hand" again and again. I think I need to stop playing combo decks, maybe some beatdown where no combos required. But I did draw all gadget hand before (and a gadget next draw too) so tell me how to stop that!

[Tournament Report] 13/09/09

So today I went all the way to khatib since I promised Mr Plant that I would turn up. It was all last minute for me to even form a deck. Good news is Charge was released yesterday so I decided to run lightlords (yeah so predictable...)

Round 1: Dimension Monarch (aka last boss)
Game1: Opponent opens with fissure, and I have no lyla or anything interesting to destroy the back row lol
Game 2: Manage to storm and rush all the way
Game 3: Fissure -> breaker, Cosmos -> Cyclone, Fissure -> Bahamut has ran out of tricks and died to legendary Raiza.

Round 2: GB
Game 1: Great opening hand of charge -> recharge -> Lumina + Garoth etc etc. easy lead
Game 2: Can't remember but badly outplayed
Game 3: 3 recharge woot, judgement cold wave =)

Round 3: Undead Synchro
Game 1: Decisive arms haxored me =(
Game 2: Clarence died coz he give me chance =P
Game 3: After much struggling, I realised there is nothing more I can do with Cherubims, Judgement, Beckoning and everything in grave!

Round 4: Grave BF
Game 1: My mind is now blank and I can't remember anything
Game 2: Refer to game 1
Game 3: There is no game 3.

That is pretty much it. I think I am deproving lol. Need to stop playing Blazblue. In addition, is there a cure for bad luck?

Seriously guys, top 4 shouldn't be allowed to get lucky draw! I blame Mr Plant for not picking Hammerhead (my lucky draw card)!

Off topic: After reading feath's comprehensive post on his Fiend Roar Deity deck, I feel like making one too! Obviously he loves his charge as much as me that he splashed it into his deck too lol.
